Chris O'Callahan is the Editor of this column as I understand it and
he is a looooong time active glider
pilot.

Actually, I wrote it and I've had reports of people showing up at
gliderports as a result of reading it. So far, so good.

To continue, I'm going to need some help in the way of photos that are
not restricted by existing copyrights and new story ideas.

A future blog will be about sailplane racing. I'd like to link to
contest web sites which are understandable and interesting to the AOPA
audience. So, please keep that in mind as you are setting up web
pages for this racing season.

Our club has had a least two recent visits directly related to the
AOPA articles. Vs power, low cost and group atmoshere seem to be the
attractions. Sometime I think (if we could afford it) mailing to an
FAA list of "student power pilots" who have not attained their ratings
after two years might work.

Great work Bill and Val....keep going!!!!
